Chapter bowling - Activities Officer Ron Robinson has put together a chapter bowling night at Tarheel Lanes on US Hwy 25 just before you get to Hendersonville. The lanes are reserved beginning at 7pm and he needs to know how many of us plan to attend. Cost will be $13.00 per person which includes bowling 3 games, your choice of a hot dog or grilled cheese, a small drink and free shoes. Directions to the meeting: From the Harley Shop you turn right onto US 70 and travel past Art Space Community School to the traffic light at the top of the hill. Turn left onto Buckeye Cove Road and travel 6/10 of a mile and veer right onto Wilson Cove Road. The Community Center is just 3/10 of a mile on the right after that. Ride to Stations Inn on the parkway for overnight trip. We'll travel up the Parkway for our two night stay. Saturday Road Captains Barry and Rueben Creek will lead some rides through roads linking Tennessee with North Carolina and maybe even into Virginia. On Sunday we'll head down to Shatley Springs where we'll meet chapter members who are riding up to Shatley Springs on our annual chapter ride. Afterwards we'll all head home together! 26th Annual Smoky Mountain Toy Run - Smoky Mountain Toy Run will sport a new look. This year, instead of begining at Kearfott, the parade will start at the large parking lot just east of the Tunnel going into town at 29 Tunnel Road between the Innsbruck Mall Ingle's and Lone Star Steakhouse and across Tunnel Road from Dairy Queen in Asheville and end at Gene Lummus Harley-Davidson in Swannanoa, NC. Event Categories
Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. chapter members. There are three categories of activities, all activities are identified as follows:
Closed events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members and one guest per member.
Member events are events that are open only to our Chapter H.O.G. members.
Open events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members, national H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.
If you are interested in becoming a H.O.G. chapter member, come to one of our monthly meetings. We'll be glad to answer your questions. You may also check at the Gene Lummus Harley-Davidson dealership for more information.
