Chapter Picnic - July 6th
From the Swannanoa dealership, turn right onto Patton Cove Road. Turn left at the light onto Hwy 70 and go about 1.8 miles to the stop light at the Shell Gas Station and Warren Wilson Road, turn right. You'll see the sign on the right hand side of the road before the light that reads Warren Wilson College. From the corner at the gas station go 2.5 miles down the road past the Warren Wilson College. Turn right just before the bridge at the end of the Owen Manufacturing building. It will seem as though you are turning into the Owen Manufacturing parking lot. Just follow around the end of the building and you'll find yourself at the park. It is called the Charles D. Owen, District Park. If you look closely just before the bridge you'll see a green sign for the park.
Picnic starts at 1:00 pm. Ride if you can. We'll have a great time. Relax and kick back.
